To celebrate an important composer colleague who is having a big birthday the only thing to do is to put on a concert, or two, and play their music. Andrian Pertout is well known in Melbourne and all over South America, in Asia and Europe and now Sydney can hear why I think he is that rare voice in Australian music, a truly innovative voice with the ability to write music full of colour and drama.
